How Its Made

Hardwood Plywood is a type of engineered wood that consists of multiple thin layers of timber arranged at right angles to each other. These layers are securely bonded together using a resin adhesive through a process of heat bonding.

During the plywood manufacturing process, each layer is rotated at an angle of 45-90 degrees to ensure that the wood grain runs in different directions in each layer. This technique, called “cross graining,” enhances the strength of the plywood and helps prevent warping.

The incorporation of these thin layers greatly enhances the strength of the plywood sheets, making them suitable for various construction applications.
